Jalan Muara Baru which located in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, is elevated 60 centimeters with concrete system to prevent the tidal wave. Moreover, the road will also be widening to solve the traffic jam that usually happens because of the narrow road.

The road widening project from a width of 6 meters to 12 meters is planned to work this week and scheduled to be completed within 2 months. Water channel with 1 meter width will be provided at right-left side of the road.
Implementer of River and Reservoir Normalization, Heriyanto, said Jalan Muara Baru is vital access which connected to Muara Baru port. Approximately, 1,500 ton of fish is transported through the road everyday.
